Hilary Ivory’s track record encompasses consumer magazine publishing and brand marketing.

After a decade editing magazines for the Hearst publishing empire at their African foothold in Cape Town, she became manager editor at their British head office in London, trouble-shooting across the company on flagship newsstand titles such as Esquire and Harpers & Queen.
One of the first creatives to make the leap from consumer publishing to marketing, she moved to Forward Ltd, a marketing agency specialising in creating magazines for blue-chip companies to send to their customers. As editorial director, she worked for brands such as Patek Philippe, Bang & Olufsen and Barclays Private Bank, developing existing projects and conceptualising ideas for new business.

Twelve years on she has broadened her creative canvas to become a freelance writer, editor and copywriter.
